Vertical Entertainment has released the trailer for the upcoming thriller American Hangman, starring Donald Sutherland as a judge who gets kidnapped and put on trial by a deranged individual who accuses him of putting an innocent man to death. The film is directed by Wilson Coneybeare and also stars Vincent Kartheiser.
American Hangman opens in theaters and on VOD platforms January 4th, 2019.
American Hangman is a thriller built around a relentlessly ticking clock and a rapidly approaching deadline and verdict. A kidnapping, broadcast live on social media, turns into the trial of a judge who presided over a botched criminal case.
