David O. Russell’s AMERICAN HUSTLE Trailer Starring Bradley Cooper, Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Jennifer Lawrence

Only a year after David O. Russell made waves with Silver Linings Playbook, he’s back with a new movie set to come out this Christmas titled American Hustle.  The film stars Bradley Cooper, Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Jennifer Lawrence, Jeremy Renner, Robert De Niro, Michael Pena, and Louis C.K., and revolves around a con-man and his partner who are forced to work with the Feds.

The film has an overt 70s vibe to it, and the trailer doesn’t give too much away as far as plot, which is a good thing. Of special note is Bradley Cooper’s sweet perm.  Hit the jump for the trailer and synopsis.

The story of a con artist and his partner in crime, who were forced to work with a federal agent to turn the tables on other cons, mobsters, and politicians – namely, the volatile mayor of impoverished Camden, New Jersey.
