Amy Berg’s Child Abuse Doc AN OPEN SECRET Picked up by Rocky Mountain Pictures

There was some concern that Amy Berg‘s latest documentary, An Open Secret, would have a tough time getting distribution considering the film aims to expose the sexual abuse of young males in Hollywood, perpetrated by some powerful figures within the industry. Rocky Mountain Pictures have announced today, however, that they picked up the film for U.S. distribution and will be doing a 20-city theatrical release beginning June 5th. The film will also play exclusively at the Cannes Market in an invite-only screening on May 19.

An Open Secret premiered at last year’s DOC NYC and was met with positive reviews.
