‘Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues’ Trailer

Here’s the new trailer for Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, which gives us some plot details about what’s in store for the Channel 4 news team as they enter the 80s and the 24-hour news cycle. The film features Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, Steve Carrell, Christina Applegate, James Marsden, Kristen Wiig, and David Koechner, with a slew of cameos to boot.

While this short trailer isn’t particularly funny, I still have high hopes for this one, but we’ll have to wait till its release in theaters December 20th.  Hit the break for the synopsis, trailer, and poster.

With the 70’s behind him, San Diego’s top rated newsman, Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell), returns to the news desk in “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.” Also back for more are Ron’s co-anchor and wife, Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate), weather man Brick Tamland (Steve Carell), man on the street Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd) and sports guy Champ Kind (David Koechner) – All of whom won’t make it easy to stay classy…while taking New York’s first 24-hour news channel by storm.
