Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for Annabelle: Creation, a prequel to Annabelle, which was a prequel of sorts to The Conjuring. The new/old chapter focuses on the tragic story that led to the dollmaker constructing the cursed Annabelle. When a nun and orphan girls come to stay at the dollmaker’s home, the evil is unleashed.
Annabelle: Creation is directed by David F. Sandberg (Lights Out) and stars Stephanie Sigman, Talitha Bateman, Lulu Wilson, Philippa Anne Coulthard, Tayler Buck, Anthony LaPaglia, and Miranda Otto. It will be in theaters on August 11th.
