ANT-MAN Sequel Gets Officially Announced and a Release Date

Today, Marvel announced that a sequel to this year’s Ant-Man is officially in the works and it will be titled Ant-Man and the WaspPaul Rudd and Evangeline Lily will be reprising their roles as the super hero duo, and I think it’s awesome that Lily’s character will be (presumably) sharing equal screen time with Rudd as Ant-Man, since we’ve never really seen that before in a Marvel film. Team-ups in comics are always great so doing it with the movies is very cool.

Ant-Man and the Wasp is set for a July 6th, 2018 release in theaters.

The announcement of the sequel caused some other Marvel release dates to shift around with Black Panther moving from the Ant-Man 2 date of July 6th 2018 to February 16th, 2018 and Captain Marvel now getting a March 8th, 2019 release.
