Bobcat Goldthwait’s ‘Willow Creek’ Trailer

Here’s the debut trailer for Bobcat Goldthwait‘s found footage horror flick Willow Creek, which is set to next appear at Fantasia Fest this July.  The film focuses on a couple who set out to find Bigfoot, however it just might turn out that Bigfoot finds them instead.

It originally screened at the Independent Film Festival Boston, and most said it was as funny as it was scary.  Being a big fan of Goldthwait’s previous films, I’m pretty interested to see what his take is on the horror genre.  Hit the jump for the synopsis and trailer.

Jim and his girlfriend Kelly are in Willow Creek, California, to retrace the steps of Bigfoot researchers Patterson and Gimlin, who, in 1967, recorded the most famous film of the legendary monster. Kelly is a skeptic, along for the ride to spend time with her boyfriend between acting gigs. Jim, a believer, hopes to capture footage of his own, so his camera is constantly rolling.
