‘Chernobyl Diaries’ Trailer

Here’s the first trailer for the upcoming horror film Chernobyl Diaries, directed by Bradley Parker and produced by Oren Peli of Paranormal Activity fame. This is Bradley Parker’s directorial debut, having previously done visual effects on movies such as Fight Club and Let Me In. We’ve seen plenty of visual effects people make the transition to directing before, and it often doesn’t work out very well, but this film looks like it could produce a few scares.

The film centers around a group of friends that decide to take a tour of the Chernobyl nuclear plant that had a massive meltdown in 1986, and left the plant, and the surrounding town vacant.  As one might expect, things don’t go right for the group, as they become stranded in the area, and they realize they are not alone. Sound familiar? We will just have to wait till it’s release on May 25, to find out if Chernobyl Diaries brings anything new to the table.
