Christmas Horror Flick KRAMPUS Gets Some New Images
USA Today posted up a batch of new images from Michael Dougherty‘s (Trick ‘r Treat) upcoming Christmas-themed horror film Krampus, which takes a look at the mythological Christmas demon known as the Krampus, who punishes naughty children. Frankly, it’s surprising that it took this long for a Krampus film to be created, however if you’re interested in the character I would recommend checking out the Venture Bros. Christmas Special, which features a very funny version of the creature. At one point Kevin Smith was also working on a Krampus movie, but I’m not sure if that’s something he’s still planning.
Krampus opens in theaters December 4th and stars Adam Scott, Toni Collette, David Koechner and Allison Tolman.
