Clint Eastwood’s JERSEY BOYS Adaptation Gets a Trailer

The first trailer has been released for Clint Eastwood‘s upcoming Jersey Boys, which is adapted from the hit Broadway show about Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons.  While I’m skeptical about any musical, this seems like it could be one I like, considering it was nominated for 8 Tony Awards and features music that I quite like.  The film stars John Lloyd Young, Vincent Piazza, Erich Bergen, Michael Lomenda, Joey Russo (playing a young Joe Pesci), and Christopher Walken.

Jersey Boys opens in theaters June 20th, hit the jump to check out the trailer and synopsis.

Clint Eastwood’s big screen version of the Tony Award-winning musical tells the story of the four young men from the wrong side of the tracks in New Jersey who came together to form the iconic `60s rock group The Four Seasons. Their trials and triumphs are accompanied by the hit songs that influenced a generation, and are now being embraced by a new generation of fans through the stage musical.
