‘Compliance’ Trailer

One of the most intriguing films to come out of this year’s Sundance was Craig Zobel‘s Compliance,  which is based on the true story of a man who would call fast-food chains, claim to be a police officer, and force the managers to strip-search employees. This bizarre story garnered national attention, and resulted in this film, a fictional take on these events. While the film looks darkly comedic, many viewers were shocked and incredibly disturbed during it’s run at Sundance.

The film was picked up by Magnolia, and currently has a release date of August 17th.
