Fox Searchlight has released a new trailer for My Cousin Rachel, an adaptation of the 1951 novel by Daphne du Maurier. The film follows Philip (Sam Claflin), who believes his cousin Rachel (Rachel Weisz) is responsible for the death of his guardian and seeks revenge. Instead, he is bewitched by her charms — and her tea.
The gothic mystery is directed by Roger Michell and hits theaters on July 14th.
A dark romance, MY COUSIN RACHEL tells the story of a young Englishman who plots revenge against his mysterious, beautiful cousin, believing that she murdered his guardian. But his feelings become complicated as he finds himself falling under the beguiling spell of her charms.
