CURSE OF CHUCKY Red Band Trailer

Universal released a new red band trailer for the upcoming 6th installment in the Child’s Play series titled Curse of Chucky.  This straight to DVD gorefest features the voice of Brad Dourif returning as the voice of the famed killer doll, with his daughter, Fiona Dourif, starring as the lead.  Series creator Don Mancini returns as writer and director.

While I’m sure this will be far from something considered a “good” movie, I’m excited to see Child’s Play return to it’s straight horror roots.  Hit the jump for the trailer and synopsis.

After the events of Child’s Play 3, Nica, a young woman forced to a wheelchair since birth, has to regroup her sister, Barb and her brother-in-law, Ian for a funeral after the death of her mother. While dealing with Barb, Ian, along with their 5-year-old daughter, Alice; Nica receives an odd package – a creepy doll. After people start showing up dead, the fearless Nica soon suspects that the creepy doll is much more than just a doll.
