Dark Star Pictures Acquires Larry Cohen Doc KING COHEN

As a fan of nearly his entire filmography, I can’t wait to check out the Larry Cohen documentary, King Cohen, and fortunately that wait is nearly over, with Dark Star Pictures picking up the film for North American release. For those uninitiated in the cult of Cohen, he directed films such as The Stuff, Q: The Winged Serpent, and the It’s Alive series in addition to scripting films like Maniac Cop and Phone Booth.

The documentary is directed by Steve Mitchell and is set for a theatrical release July 7th, with a VOD release August 14th.
