David O. Russell’s JOY Trailer Starring Jennifer Lawrence

20th Century Fox has released the first trailer for David O. Russell‘s Joy, starring Jennifer Lawrence as a young woman who creates a business dynasty. The film also stars Robert De Niro, Edgar Ramirez, Diane Ladd, Virginia Madsen,Isabella Rossellini, Elisabeth Röhm and Bradley Cooper.

Much like American Hustle, this is an extremely effective first trailer, instantly sinking its hooks in me and making me really excited to check this one out when it hits theaters December 25th.

JOY is the wild story of a family across four generations centered on the girl who becomes the woman who founds a business dynasty and becomes a matriarch in her own right.
