DELIVER US FROM EVIL Trailer Starring Eric Bana

Here’s a creepy new trailer for the Joel Schumacher produced horror film Deliver us from Evil.  In the film, Eric Bana plays a New York cop investigating what appears to be a mass possession, turning people into crazed lunatics.  Scott Derrickson (Sinister, The Curse of Emily Rose) writes and directs, so hopefully this will be a fun piece of summer horror.

Deliver us From Evil also stars Olivia Munn, Joel McHale, and Sean Harris, and is set to open in theaters July 2nd.

In DELIVER US FROM EVIL, New York police officer Ralph Sarchie (Eric Bana), struggling with his own personal issues, begins investigating a series of disturbing and inexplicable crimes. He joins forces with an unconventional priest (Edgar Ramirez), schooled in the rituals of exorcism, to combat the frightening and demonic possessions that are terrorizing their city. Based upon the book, which details Sarchie’s bone-chilling real-life cases.
