Entertainment One posted up the first trailer for Derek Cianfrance‘s (Blue Valentine, A Place Beyond the Pines) The Light Between Oceans starring Michael Fassbender, Alicia Vikander, and Rachel Weisz. The film, based on the best-selling novel by M.L Stedman, features Fassbender and Vikander as a couple who discover a boat washed ashore with a dead man and a two-month old baby who they decide to raise as their own.
The Light Between Oceans opens in theaters September 2nd.
