Disney’s ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS Trailer

So, I didn’t even know this movie existed until earlier this week, but indeed there is a sequel to 2010’s live-action Alice in Wonderland called Alice Through the Looking Glass and today Disney released the first trailer for it. Although the entire cast from the original is returning, Tim Burton is not on directing duties this time around, instead being replaced by James Bobbin (The Muppets, Flight of the Conchords). The film stars Mia Wasikowska, Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Sacha Baron Cohen, and Andrew Scott, along with the voices of Alan Rickman (Blue Caterpillar), Michael Sheen (White Rabbit), and Toby Jones (Wilkins).

Alice Through the Looking Glass opens in theaters May 27th, 2016.

Scotti serving as executive producer. “Alice Through the Looking Glass” reunites the all-star cast from the worldwide blockbuster phenomenon, including: Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Mia Wasikowska and Helena Bonham Carter along with the voices of Alan Rickman, Stephen Fry, Michael Sheen and Timothy Spall. We are also introduced to several new characters: Zanik Hightopp (Rhys Ifans), the Mad Hatter’s father and Time himself (Sacha Baron Cohen), a peculiar creature who is part human, part clock.
