I mentioned it on the regular weekly podcast over the last two weeks, but I’m super excited to formally announce a new podcast we’re launching tomorrow called Saved by the ’90s! This monthly podcast, hosted by myself (Adam Patterson) and Film Pulse contributor Ken Bakely, is a deep dive into ’90s pop culture and the films that helped shaped the decade.
While film will be the backbone of the show, we’ll be looking at trends of the era along with discussion of TV shows, toys, music, video games, and everything else that made growing up during that time so much fun.
The first episode we’ll be tackling July 1993 and discussing the live action kids movie craze including reviews of Rookie of the Year and Hocus Pocus, along with the TV movie 12:01. It will be launching tomorrow, Tuesday, July 24th at 9:00AM EST right here on the site as well as Soundcloud and other podcast providers.
We want to hear your ’90s memories so be sure to follow us on Twitter and Facebook and we really hope you like it!
