Final Theatrical Trailer for ‘The Master’

Here’s the final theatrical trailer for Paul Thomas Anderson‘s highly anticipated film The Master, starring Philip Seymour Hoffman, Joaquin Phoenix, and Amy Adams. This amazingly crafted trailer gives us just another small glimpse into the philosophy of Hoffman’s character of Lancaster Dodd, and the tense situations we’ll be in for with the film.The most interesting aspect of the teasers we’ve seen for this film, is the utter lack of plot given in them.  While we do get to see some characterization, there is nothing revealed in regard to the actual story this film is telling, and that is something we don’t normally see with trailers.

Early reviews are overwhelmingly positive for this film, and I personally can’t wait until it’s release in theaters on September 21st.  Here’s the trailer:
