After being teased yesterday, the first Baywatch trailer has arrived. Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron jump into the water a couple of times and engage each other in witty and/or contentious banter. One exchange is about their balls.
It seems like they’re going with a self-aware 21 Jump Street-esque vibe with lines like, “It’s up to us to restore the Baywatch brand” and calling out the slow-motion running. We’ll find out if Johnson and Efron can make it work the way Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum did.
Directed by Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses), Baywatch will arrive in theaters on May 26, 2017.
