First Look at Elle Fanning in MARY SHELLEY

When it was first announced, the drama about Frankenstein author Mary Shelley was called A Storm in the Stars. It now has the much more imaginative title of Mary Shelley, and today The Hollywood Reporter debuted the first look at Elle Fanning in the title role. She has her notebook at the ready while lounging in a cemetery, a fine place to get ideas for her famous work.

Directed by Haifaa al-Mansour (Wadjda), the film also stars Douglas Booth, Bel PowleyMaisie Williams, Joanne Froggatt and Tom Sturridge. It is currently being shopped at the Berlin Film Festival.
