The new Fist Fight red band trailer adds some crazy context that the tamer clips failed to capture. There are a ton of F-bombs to go along with several sex and drug references, including from a meth-loving guidance counselor (Jillian Bell).
The main plot thrust is a parking lot fight between Ice Cube and Charlie Day, two teachers at a rough school, but this new look at all the periphery shenanigans has me a little bit interested.
Fist Fight also stars Tracy Morgan, Christina Hendricks, Dean Norris, Kumail Nanjiani and Dennis Haysbert. It arrives in theaters on February 17th.
On the last day of the year, mild-mannered high school English teacher Andy Campbell (Day) is trying his best to keep it together amidst senior pranks, a dysfunctional administration and budget cuts that put jobs on the line. But things go from bad to worse when he accidentally crosses his much tougher and deeply feared colleague, Ron Strickland (Cube), who challenges Campbell to an old-fashioned throw down after school. News of the fight spreads like wildfire and ends up becoming the very thing this school, and Campbell, needed.
