For Better or Worse…’The Boondock Saints III’ is a Go

In a recent interview with IFC regarding the upcoming third season of The Walking Dead, Norman Reedus, who played Murphy in The Boondock Saints films, confirmed that a third iteration is in the works.  This may delight some fans, however with the dismal reception of the second film, I’m not holding my breath with this one.

Reedus confirmed that co-star Sean Patrick Flanery would be back, and writer/director Troy Duffy would also be making a return.  There hasn’t been any official announcement as of yet, so we don’t have any other casting details, but we’ll be keeping our ears to the ground, and let you know when we find out more.

This should also be considered nothing more than a rumor, as if you remember, last year Troy Duffy was touting the possibility of a Boondock Saints TV show which never materialized to anything.
