IT Gets a Poster and a Trailer Tease

Warner Bros. has released a poster for the new adaptation of Stephen King‘s It, along with a tease for a trailer that will arrive tomorrow. The poster features Pennywise, the evil clown responsible for the disappearance of several children in a small Maine town, offering a child a balloon. Bill Skarsgard takes on the role of the Pennywise, previously played by Tim Curry in the 1990 miniseries.

Check out the poster and trailer tease below.

Directed by Andy Muschietti, It also stars Finn Wolfhard, Jaeden Lieberher, Nicholas Hamilton, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs, and Jeremy Ray Taylor.

It is in theaters on September 8th.

New Line Cinema’s horror thriller “IT,” directed by Andrés Muschietti (“Mama”), is based on the hugely popular Stephen King novel of the same name, which has been terrifying readers for decades. When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.
