GRAND PIANO Trailer Starring Elijah Wood and John Cusack

One of the more intriguing titles to screen at this year’s Fantastic Fest was Eugenio Mira‘s Grand Piano, which stars Elijah Wood as a pianist who must play a perfect concert or else he and his wife will be killed by a psychopath played by John Cusack.  Magnet released the first trailer today, and I’m very excited to check this one out when it hits VOD January 30, 2014.

Grand Piano will also be playing in select cities March 7, 2014, hit the jump to check out the trailer and synopsis.

 

Tom Selznick, the most talented pianist of his generation, stopped performing in public because of his stage fright. Years after a catastrophic performance, he reappears in public in a long-awaited concert in Chicago. In a packed theater, in front of the expectant audience, Tom finds a message written on the score: “Play one wrong note and you die.” Without leaving the piano, Tom must discover the anonymous sniper’s motives and look for help without anyone realizing…
