GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 Gets a New Trailer and Poster

Marvel Studios has released a new trailer for James Gunn‘s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, which finally gives us a quick look at Kurt Russell as Ego the Living Planet. He looks a lot like human Kurt Russell with a beard. The rest of the gang shows off their typical wit while operating in extremely vibrant set pieces. All set to classic rock, of course – in this case Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain.” There’s also a colorful new poster that you can check out below.

Starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Michael Rooker, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Karen Gillan, and Pom Klementieff, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 arrives in theaters on May 5th.

Set to the backdrop of ‘Awesome Mixtape #2,’ Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.
