Han Solo Movie Begins Shooting

Filming is underway on the Han Solo Star Wars spinoff, and co-director Chris Miller tweeted out a photo to mark the occasion. The film stars Alden Ehrenreich as young Han Solo, Donald Glover as young Lando Calrissian, Woody Harrelson, and Emilia Clarke.

Miller’s photo features a caption (“Han First Shot”) that’s a play on a familiar Star Wars fan phrase. Also interesting is the temporary title, The Red Cup, a nod to Solo brand plastic cups.

Directed by Miller and Phil Lord, The Untitled Han Solo Movie – Solo? – will be in theaters on May 25th, 2018.
