HANSEL AND GRETEL: WITCH HUNTERS 2 Finds a Director

Deadline reports that Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters 2 is moving forward at Paramount with the announcement that Bruno Aveillan has been brought in to direct the film. This will be Aveillan’s film debut after having a successful career as a commercial director, something we’ve seen plenty of in the past.

The article does not state if Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton will be returning for the sequel, but it does confirm that Tommy Wirkola (The first film’s writer and director) has given the studio a completed script and that Adam McKay, Will Ferrell, Kevin Messick, and Beau Flynn will be producing.
