HBO’s UNMASKING JIHADI JOHN Gets a Trailer

HBO has released the trailer for the upcoming documentary Unmasking Jihadi John: Anatomy of a Terrorist, directed by Anthony Wonke. The film takes a look at the manhunt for Mohammed Emwazi, a.k.a “Jihadi John,” a brutal ISIS terrorist.

Unmasking Jihadi John will be premiering on HBO July 31st.

UNMASKING JIHADI JOHN: ANATOMY OF A TERRORIST recounts the global hunt for Mohammed Emwazi, a.k.a “Jihadi John,” a man who was raised in London and grew to become a brutal ISIS terrorist in Syria. The film details the experiences of the aid workers and journalists held hostage by Emwazi, some of whom survived and some who were executed, and highlights the journey of family members seeking justice for their lost loved ones. Unmasking Jihadi John provides a detailed account of the hunt for Emwazi by CIA, Pentagon and British intelligence operatives who have never spoken publicly about the operation until now.
