Here Comes the Summer of ’82

The amazingly awesome Alamo Drafthouse is by far the best theater chain in the country, and this summer they’re boosting their rep once again by recreating the summer of 1982, regarded as one of the best years for movie releases ever. They will be releasing Conan the Barbarian, The Road Warrior, Rocky III, Poltergeist, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, E.T., The Thing, and TRON. The Hollywood Reporter states that they are currently working with Ridley Scott to get permission to show Blade Runner as well.
