A new Japanese trailer has been released for Martin Scorsese‘s Silence and it’s much more harrowing than the official US version. Adam Driver and Andrew Garfield play priests who venture to Japan to find their missing colleague (Liam Neeson). Their faith is tested when they see the cost of spreading Christianity, which looks high.
Silence gets a limited release on December 23rd before going wide on January 6th, 2017.
