A new trailer has been released for the Oscar hopeful The Brand New Testament from director Jaco Van Dormael (Mister Nobody). The film revolves around a little girl who discovers her father happens to be God and is living in Brussels, creating the laws of man from an old computer while wearing a bathrobe.
The comedy has been nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at this year’s Golden Globes and is on the Oscar shortlist for best Foreign Language Film as well. Benoît Poelvoorde, Catherine Deneuve, Yolande Moreau, François Damiens and Pili Groyne star.
The Brand New Testament doesn’t currently have a U.S. release date, but I’m anxious to check this one out, hopefully before the end of the year!
