Jason Reitman’s LABOR DAY Trailer Starring Josh Brolin and Kate Winslet

SlashFilm posted up the debut online trailer for Jason Reitman‘s Labor Day, which stars Josh Brolin as an escaped convict who takes a mother (Kate Winslet) and her son (Gattlin Griffith) hostage over Labor Day weekend.  You may recognize the voice of Agent Coulson in the trailer as Clark Gregg is featured in the film as well, along with Tobey Maguire, James Van Der Beek, Dylan Minnette, and Brooke Smith.

This certainly looks like a departure from Reitman’s previous films like Up in the Air, Young Adult, and Juno, all of which had a biting comedic style.  This looks to be more of a straight up drama, however that doesn’t make be any less excited to see this when it hits theaters January 31, 2014.  Hit the jump for the trailer.
