JESSABELLE Trailer

Here’s the first trailer for the upcoming supernatural horror film Jessabelle, which stars Sarah Snook as an accident victim haunted by what appears to be a very malevolent spirit.  Jason Blum (Insidious, Paranormal Activity) is producing the script from Robert Ben Garant (Reno 911!) with Kevin Greutert (Saw 3D) directing.  While it looks like your typical supernatural horror movie we’ve been seeing a lot of lately, the trailer is just creepy enough to make me want to check it out.

Mark Webber, Larisa Oleynik, David Andrews, Joelle Carter, Ana de la Reguera, Chris Ellis, Fran Bennett, and Amber Stevens also star.  Jessabelle opens in theaters August 29th, hit the jump to check out the trailer.

From the mastermind producer of Paranormal Activity and Insidious comes the ghostly tale of Jessabelle. Returning to her childhood home in Louisiana to recuperate from a horrific car accident, Jessabelle (Sarah Snook of Sleeping Beauty) comes face to face with a long-tormented spirit that has been seeking her return — and has no intention of letting her escape.
