Joe Swanberg’s ‘Drinking Buddies’ Picked up by Magnolia

Magnolia Pictures has announced it’s acquisition of Joe Swanberg‘s new film Drinking Buddies, which premiered last week at SXSW 2013. The film stars Olivia Wilde, Jake Johnson, Ron Livingston, and Anna Kendrick, and focuses on two co-workers at a small brewery that try their hardest to ignore their feelings for each other.

There’s no word yet on a release date, but for now you can check out our review here where we praise the film for it’s great performances and hilarious dialogue.
