After premiering at Sundance way back in 2014, Imperial Dreams is finally reaching the masses courtesy of Netflix. Directed by Malik Vitthal, the film stars John Boyega as a young father struggling to make a better life for his son.
Also starring Rotimi Akinosho, Glenn Plummer, Keke Palmer, De’aundre Bonds, and Justin & Ethan Coach, Imperial Dreams will be available on Netflix on February 3rd.
Filmed on location in the Imperial Courts projects outside Los Angeles, Imperial Dreams is a gangster fairy tale about a father’s struggle to build a better life for his son.
