Warner Bros. has released the final trailer for Joker, Todd Phillips‘ exploration into the origin of Batman’s most iconic nemesis. Joaquin Phoenix plays the titular role and the film also stars Robert De Niro, Zazie Beetz, Frances Conroy, Marc Maron, Bill Camp, Glenn Fleshler, Shea Whigham, Brett Cullen, Douglas Hodge, and Josh Pais.
The film has been rated R and looks to draw significant influence from Scorsese in its gritty tone. Joker opens in theaters October 4th.
