Jude Law Confirms Role in Wes Anderson’s ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’

Today, according to a recent interview with MTV, Jude Law has confirmed he will be playing a role in the upcoming Wes Anderson film The Grand Budapest Hotel. It looks like the cast is shaping up nicely, because in addition to Law, the film will also feature Johnny Depp and Owen Wilson, with rumored roles for Bill MurrayAngela Lansbury, Adrien Brody, and Willem Dafoe. It wouldn’t surprise me the slightest bit if Anderson pulled a cast like that, and by the time this project gets underway, I also wouldn’t be surprised to see more Anderson regulars hop on board like Jason Schwartzman or Jeff Goldblum.

Everyone seems to be keeping mum about the plot details of the film, so it must still be relatively early in the development stages, but we’ll certainly report more as we find out. Shooting is expected to begin this January, with the possibility of a late 2013 release.
