Kim Jee-woon to Adapt Ed Brubaker’s COWARD

With the exception of Frank Miller‘s Sin City, Ed Brubaker’s Criminal is by far one of the most well-written and fully realized noir comics ever, and now it’s first volume, Coward, is being adapted to film.  Kim Jee-woon (I Saw the Devil, The Last Stand) is tapped to direct, with Jamie Patricof and Lynette Howell (Blue Valentine) set to produce.

If you haven’t checked out this series, go pick it up and start getting excited for this project.  Unfortunately, financing is still in the works so it may be a while before we hear anything more.
