THE KINGS OF SUMMER Director Jordan Vogt-Roberts Set to Helm SKULL ISLAND

Sticking with the recent Hollywood trend of tapping indie directors to helm blockbuster projects, it was announced today that Jordan Vogt-Roberts (The Kings of Summer) will be directing the upcoming Skull Island for Legendary and Universal. As someone who was a huge fan of Kings of Summer as well as its director, this is some very exciting news.

Tom Hiddleston is in talks to star in the film, however this hasn’t been confirmed just yet.  Skull Island currently has a release date of November 4, 2016.  Be sure to click here to check out our previous interview with Vogt-Roberts speaking about The Kings of Summer.
