Kurt Walker has a new film dropping this upcoming Monday, May 4th on the experimental film streaming site, Kinet.Media, titled s01e03. Co-written with Michelle Yoon (who also produces, stars, and provides cinematography), the film is a mix of digital & 16mm photography and characterized as “a virtual love story set in Vancouver, New York, and the dying world of a massively multiplayer online role-playing game.” If it’s anything like his 2014 experimental documentary hybrid, Hit 2 Pass (which is available for free via Walker’s Vimeo), it’ll be a film that seems simple enough on the surface but contains a multitude of layers upon further contemplation.
