Many, including myself, were hoping for a Cannes release, but alas either the film wasn’t ready or there was still bad blood held between von Trier and the programmers. Either way, there’s still no release date set, however Magnolia plans to roll out marketing over the next eight months so I suspect we’ll be waiting at least that long to see it. Also, according to the website, it says to check back in May 16th, so hopefully we’ll have something more substantial to post.
