Lars Von Trier’s NYMPHOMANIAC Gets a U.S. Release Date

Magnolia finally announced their plans for releasing Lars Von Trier‘s Nymphomaniac here in the States.  Because of the film’s length and extremely graphic content, there was most likely a lot of discussion on the best way to get this beast out to the public.

In the end, they decided to release Part 1 on VOD March 6, 2014 and in theaters March 21, and Part 2 will be on VOD April 3, with a theatrical date of April 18.

This will be the 4-hour cut of the film, previously announced by the producer, Peter Aalbaek Jensen, instead of the 5 1/2 hour original cut created by Von Trier.
