Liam Neeson To Star in Ruben Fleischer’s Action-Comedy THE REVENGER

It looks like Liam Neeson is about to have some fun with his recent turn as an action star by starring in the upcoming action-comedy The Revenger, directed by Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland, 30 Minutes or Less). Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant will be writing the script, so it should be pretty fun, although plot details haven’t emerged just yet.

Judging from the title, I’d venture to guess it involves a man who had something terrible happen to him and goes on a righteous path of vengeance, taking the law into his own hands.

The Revenger is still in early development so there’s no word on when shooting will begin or any other cast members.
