Lionsgate Developing SAW 8

It’s been three years since we’ve seen the rambunctious antics of Jigsaw and gang on the big screen and apparently Lionsgate decided that’s enough time for us to forget how convoluted and ridiculous the Saw franchise got.  Despite not being able to differentiate between any of them past 2, I still find the series enjoyable and I commend the writers for consistently coming up with fresh ideas, even if they were completely ludicrous.

Bloody Disgusting broke the news that an eighth film is officially in the works, however there’s nothing to report beyond that.  We’re not sure if it’s going to be a reboot or a continuation of the original storyline, and there’s been no talk of who will be directing.  We’ll be sure to keep you posted, as I know you’re all waiting with bated breath.
