THE LOVE WITCH Director Anna Biller Announces Next Project

I’ve been a huge fan of director Anna Biller since I first saw Viva back in 2007 and The Love Witch ended up being one of my favorites of last year, so it’s very exciting to report that she has the concept for her next project.

In a blog post released today, Biller announced her next film will be a Bluebeard movie, paying homage to classic women in peril films of the ’60s. Adapted from a pulp novel, which is currently being kept secret, the film will be shot on 35mm (of course) and will revolve around a woman having to deal with her domineering, most likely murderous, husband.

I highly recommend reading her entire blog post over at lifeofastar.com/Bluebeard_Movie to learn more about the inspiration for this upcoming project and hopefully get as excited as I am.
