Marvel’s ANT-MAN Loses Director Edgar Wright

In  joint statements released today, Disney/Marvel and director Edgar Wright have parted ways in the upcoming Ant-Man.  According to The Wrap, the statement says “Marvel and Edgar Wright jointly announced today that the studio and director have parted ways on Ant-Man due to differences in their vision of the film.  The decision to move on is amicable and does not impact the release date on July 17, 2015. A new director will be announced shortly.”

Although this news is definitely a downer, we need to remember Paul Rudd is still attached to play the lead, so if they get the right replacement it still could turn out okay.
