Matthew Johnson’s THE DIRTIES Gets a New Trailer

One of our favorite films to hit the festival circuit this year is Matthew Johnson‘s The Dirties.  The film is equal parts, funny, complex, and tragic, and it’s definitely worth checking out.  Phase 4 and Kevin Smith recently picked up the film for distribution, and announced it will be available in theaters and On Demand starting October 4th, 2013.

Be sure to check out our review for the film here, and listen to our interview with director Matt Johnson here.  Hit the break to check out the newly released trailer and to read the synopsis.

When two best friends team up to film a comedy about getting revenge on bullies, the exercise takes a devastating turn when one of them begins to think of it as more than a joke.
