MEOW WOLF: ORIGIN STORY Exclusive Clip

Here’s an exclusive clip at the upcoming documentary Meow Wolf: Origin Story, in which the folks of Meow Wolf, the art collective that has ballooned into a multi-million dollar company in just a few short years, discuss how the name Meow Wolf first came about.

Meow Wolf: Origin Story is directed by Morgan Capps and Jilann Spitzmiller, and opens in theaters tomorrow (November 29th). For ticketing information, head over to the film’s official web site at originstory.mw.

In one of the highest adrenaline, most unlikely success stories you’ll ever see, Meow Wolf: Origin Story takes us through the meteoric rise of a penniless, anarchic art collective as it attracts the support of George R.R. Martin (Game of Thrones) and morphs into a multi-million dollar corporation in just a few short years. With the opening of its instantly successful exhibition, House of Eternal Return, the group sets its sights on new exhibits around the world. How does a team of ragtag millennial artists become one of the most compelling new startups of this generation, and what will they do next? Origin Story follows the seven eclectic founding members and hundreds of volunteers as they struggle with fracture, loss, success, and failure over a decade – while constantly redefining themselves and what art can really be. The film is an artistic explosion in and of itself, throwing down a kaleidoscope of color, sound, and music that brings this crazy, highly inspiring ride to life.
